My Purse

Another fun tag game! :)

What's in my purse?



First, I must say, I use to be a "purse switcher" depending on my outfit, but once I found this little beauty- I hardly ever change it. I love it! The bag is deep, but not obnoxiously huge, and the strap can change to a long, over-the-shoulder strap- perfect for long shopping excursions or the airport! (Anywhere you want your purse right with you, but don't want to be bothered by holding the strap.)



At any given time the contents include: wallet, 1 or 2 diapers, baby wipes, binky, Kid-e-col (which shall be explained in a post all its own!) gum, hand sanitizer, lotion, sunscreen, multiple lip glosses or chapsticks. On this particular day, I happen to have a delicious flavor of Mentos handy.



Now for the diaper bag (which for me is an entirely different thing): With Amaya I always carried a dbag, stock full of anything and everything I could ever possibly need. Now, I carry my purse w/diapers and wipes, and the dbag has a permanent home in the suburban. If we are doing anything that takes a substantial amount of time, we bring it along. Otherwise, it stays, and is there for emergencies.



The diaper bag contents: diapers, wipes, zip lock baggy (for the unfortunate inevitability of having to carry around a blown-out article of clothing until we get home), Tide-to-go pen, Flossers to go, pens, changing pad, burp cloth, back up outfit (to replace the poopy one!), whatever headband Kendal (or Joe) has pulled off, hand sani, binky, and Kid-e-col.
