Call me crazy, but I have always thought of Texas as a dry, desert, tumble weed type state. I was way off! (At least as far as San Antonio was concerned). It was hot and HUMID!! (evidenced by Gramma Mary sweating like a whore in church!) With beautiful foilage all over the place, especially on the River Walk.

You've got me wanting to go to San Antonio! What a beautiful place! It is pretty disgraceful that I married a Texan and I've never been there for anything more than a layover on my way to somewhere else!
No stinkin way would I survive there, me and humitity do NOT mix. I could barely handle Disneyland, and I know that doesn't even compare! I am very vain, and my hair just goes wacko! :)
I about peed my pants when I read your comment about your g-ma! She looks the exact same as how I remember her!
I'm so jealous! I have always wanted to go to San Antonio! It looks so cool! Glad you loved it!
