Relief Ladies!

I just needed to hear this very thing, and I'm sure some of you do to, based on previous comments. Thank you sweet wife. You should all read this and give yourselves a break! Ps- I really like her blog. What do you think?

oh very good indeed! I may have to read it everyday to keep it fresh in my mind and keep those bad thoughts away. She is so right! I think I will feel extra good about the things I do accomplish in the next 3 months, because I am 6 1/2 months prego and trying to survive an Arizona summer (it's 112 today) so I think I deserve extra props just for that :0) So knowing that I am doing the best I can and that I did some productive things today I am now going to go sit on the couch and watch Season 1 of Sex and the City- I picked it up at the library today :0) Cause we are fabulous! Thanks for sharing- and good luck with the drawing this Friday :0)

She is absolutely right. Life is too short to waste it worrying about what you didn't do or can't do. I have come to terms 1st, being a somewhat loser amongst very competent women and 2nd, with my house being a total disaster and walking out the door with dishes on the table almost every morning this summer to get to the swimming pool... because the truth is, the sun will go down and the babes will grow up. My list of things to do is soooooo long and one day I'm afraid it will be soooo empty therefore, I'm embracing it and adding to it as I go ... that way, it will hopefully never run out and at least my intentions weren't to be a loser!!!! kidding! Do you know the blog writer personally!

Okay. So that post came at such perfect time...being 8 months pregers and trying to keep up with 2 little kids all day on top of all the other things I just can't seem to get done running through my mind tends to make me feel pretty inadequate. But to have a reminder that I don't have to do absolutely everything and I'm still doing alright was kind of a nice little sigh of relief.

I seriously have a problem with this!!! I always feel like I can't start my play until I have all the mundane house stuff done? What fun am I missing out on that I will wish I had had later? I know that these years are going to fly by and I am trying to enjoy them! Treasure the "doing" a little more and the getting it done a little less! Thanks!
