What more could you ask for from a 4th of July Holiday than good people, good food and good times? The extended Eyre family all met up in Midway to celebrate, and the fun ensued! The weekend was full of activities: The Alpine Slide, shopping, riding the Heber Creeper, swimming, fireworks, hottubbing, and more!
Oh, I guess there is one more thing a person could ask for from the 4th of July- a decent parade! A note to the masses who may read this: Park City has the most pathetic excuse for a parade ever! Last I checked, parades were supposed to be a celebration of our country that include floats, clowns, music, dancers, bands, cheerleaders, and a plethora of candy! But apparently Park City didn't get the memo, and their only criterion for joining the parade was having a functioning car with a ribbon tied to the mirror and an advertisement on the door, or being capable of walking while wearing a patriotic-themed shirt. Come on... at least toss the kids a sucker!

Have we already had this discussion about midway? Justin's family (grandma at least) lived there for years, and I am pretty sure his mom did too. Craziness!
So the little rich town couldn't afford to put on a cool parade??? Lame-o!
I would love to go shopping in park city though, any great deals?? :)
One month later for 4th pictures eh.....better late than never eh?
Hey - I'm sherstine's MIL. I just met Becky Eyre last week when I went VT to her sister Sheila Larson. That was so weird to see her in one of your pics.
