Princess Amaya

The Birthday Princess

Amaya is positively obsessed with all things Princess! So it was no surprise to us when she said she wanted a Princess Party for her birthday!
She was so excited to have all of her little girlfriends over for a tea party, dressed in their
finest castle attire!
I had an absolute blast planning it all! And to see and hear her reaction when she woke up the morning of the party and saw the decorations
made every minute well worth it!

She was an absolute doll at her party! She was so polite and kind to her friends.
She made sure they all felt welcome and included,
and gave each one a hug when they arrived, telling them how glad she was to see them!

We were especially happy to have our special guest
Nana,
who came all the way from Boise to attend the party!

Amaya never ceases to amaze me with her "old soul" and understanding beyond her years!

3 years! Wow how they've flown!
We sure love our sweet little pistol Amayabelle!

(And now for a slew of posts from her party! Too many cute pics for me to narrow down...)

Wow, what great posts! Happy Birthday Amaya! I loved the letter you wrote to her Hillary - you articulated so much of what I feel myself about parenthood. Aren't children such a blessing?!

You look like quite the party planner! I loved the princess and the pea game and pin the kiss on the frog! How cute! It was also a treat to see Jody in the pics! How fun for Amaya to have her Nana there!

OH my goodness... that turned out PERFECT!! I love all the details... you are so creative! So did you have a trunk full of princess costumes for the girls to dress up in or did they come that way? I'm SO volunteering you to post on my Mom Blog... and stealing your ideas for Kaylee's 4th bday!

That really was a perfect little party! You decorated so cute too! Good work. I'm going to need your help next month with Ava's. Maybe I'll see ya tomorrow? I hope! (All depends on how Ava does tonight)

My favorite picture is when Amaya is opening up her DVD... she is a crack up. Your letter is so sweet to her- you both will treasure that letter and the others you write through the years.

This party reminds me of Luke's 4th Birthday party except it was Batman - we went all out! It was a lot of work, but oh so fun... homemade capes and masks for lots of children and the pictures are priceless. The effort really is worth it ... remind me that I said that for Kate's parties since she's my third!!!

That Amaya truly is unique and full of so much life... you are blessed!

Umm...your family is freakin cute!! Hurray for princess parties! Someday i'll make you do one for Peyten cuz those decorations are so gloriously wonderful. Question...where does your blonde princess come from? You guys are far from blonde. She is a lot more attractive than you guys thats for sure. Ha, I joke.
