I have to dedicate at least one post to thank so many who have helped us. I have literally been humbled, thankful, and so deeply astounded at the generosity of so many in our lives who have gone far beyond the call of duty to help us as of late. Particularly family. I have always had a hard time accepting other people's service. Not because I am too proud to accept it, but because I feel so badly putting anyone out, or burdening anybody else with my problems- who doesn't have their own to deal with?! And I have never been able to adequately express the gratitude I feel: it's like my mouth won't express what my heart wants to say.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am inspired to be a better person, more Christ like, more willing to sacrifice, more loving, and more understanding because of watching and receiving your acts of kindness. Everyone. Those who have been an ear to listen, those who have provided for us our most basic needs, those who have given words of encouragement, right down to our dear sweet Bishop in old town who chased me down on my way out of town to wish me well and give me a gift.
My only hope of showing my sincere thanks is to one day be able to do the same for friends or family in need.

Welcome back. House renovating? Your house? Your new house in Idaho? Lucky. I want a house- badly. I need a garage desperately for storage of baby clothes that don't fit baby, toys he is no longer interested in, and all my other junk. Oh someday....
Oh, Hilla! I miss you tons. Please let us know what we can do to help. And, yes, I can truly understand the frustrations of renovating a house. It does take forever, I feel as if ours will never be done. Love ya! Jenny
Hill, wish we were closer to help. People share and serve because they love you - We are thinking of you and love you all.
I have never actually re upholstered a thing in my life. And yet I decided to start with a couch- I seem to do things to myself. So far so good. My mom did her couches a couple years back and she claims it is easy enough- but she has a lot more experience on a sewing machine then me...so we shall see. As far as your thing goes- does it have fabric on it now? Really all you do it rip the old stuff off- as carefully as you can because you'll be using the old stuff as a pattern. (Take pics as you go and label the stuff you are taking off so you know how to put it all back together) Once all the fabric is off you make new patterns with your new fabric and put it all back together- that is how you re upholster in a very small nutshell.
Hil-
Got the new digits today, I guess this makes it permanent since you know longer have a (435) number... it was quite depressing... Reading and dance is not the same without you... Tailor doesn't go. And we avoid driving by your house because Tailor asks to knock and find out where Amaya is!!! Bottom line... ya we miss you!
You have got to be one of my most favorite people ever. You are so sweet. I like what carlston said. It is so true. People share and serve you because they love you. I love you. I miss you. I know you came into my life for a reason and I hope we always stay friends. I know it's so hard to catch up over the phone being so busy and all, but we are just going to have to!
Isn't it a wonderful blessing to be reassured that there are people who love you, want the best for you, want to help you, lift you up...(been going through a bit of a trial of my own lately)friends and fam are the absolute BEST hands down! Thanks for the cute comments on my blog, always! I haven't been feeling much up to blogging lately...but I enjoy a cutsie comment from Hilla whenever I do....Hope to see more of you now that you are back in town! Good luck with the house revamp!!!
Love you guys, hang in there!
I love that quote and picture. Sounds like a lot has been going on for you guys. Good luck with it all. Thinking about and missing ya.
Jenny's last name is Shelton- maiden. She is not married. She use to live in Boise- her family moved to Utah when we were going into 10th grade I think.
Jenny didn't really hook us up. She and Jon knew of each other in high school but I don't think they hung out. Jenny and I were hanging out with Jon's good friends when he came home from his mission. So we kind of met through group get togethers- it was funny because 3 or 4 girls in the group I was hanging out with all had a thing for Jon- including Jenny! All I can say is I was more persistent then the other girls!
I TOTALLY missed you while in St. George... TWICE. Hope we will meet again soon.
